Applications are now being accepted for the Fall 2021 Grant Cycle. The application form can be downloaded from the foundation’s web page at www.bvcountyfoundation.com or requested by email at email@example.com.
The deadline for turning in applications in the Fall 2021 round of grants is 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
The foundation will accept grants submitted by mail to the Foundation at P.O. Box 771, Storm Lake, Iowa 50588 any grants not received by September 30, 2021 (regardless of postmark date) will NOT be accepted or considered for this grant cycle. In addition, grants may be submitted in person at Storm Lake United during normal business hours. A secure drop box is located inside the SLU offices.
The Buena Vista County Community Foundation seeks to provide grant funding to local not-for-profit groups in Buena Vista County whose project will help to make Buena Vista County better in some way. Grants are given for capital projects only. The foundation does not provide grant funding for operational programming.
We will again be posting tips and tricks on the foundation’s Facebook page is www.facebook.com/bvccf. Questions can be submitted via our Facebook page or by email provided they are submitted at least five days prior to the grant deadline.
Funds granted through the grant program must benefit Buena Vista County residents and/or organizations. Applicants must be a 501.C.3 organization or a governmental or educational organization such as a City, County, or Community School District or utilize a fiscal agent.
